Avizing Technologies Inc. helps teams adopt Apache Hop, migrate to it from Pentaho and Kettle, and run it in production the way an enterprise expects. We are based in the United States and work with domestic and international clients across time zones.
What we do
One platform, done properly
Avizing is a specialist consultancy, not a generalist shop. Our work centers on Apache Hop, the open source data orchestration and integration platform from the Apache Software Foundation, and on the practices that turn a Hop project into a platform a team can run: Git, containers, secrets management, backups, and monitoring.
Engagements usually start in one of three places: a team adopting Hop for the first time, a team moving off Pentaho Data Integration or Kettle, or a team that wants AI in its data pipelines and wants it done with guardrails. In every case the goal is the same: a platform your own engineers operate at the end, with nothing that depends on us staying around.

Pipelines are software
Every pipeline and workflow lives in Git, is reviewed in a pull request, and is promoted through environments by CI. Nothing is edited by hand on a server.
Open source, no lock-in
We build on Apache Hop and other open source tools so clients own their pipelines outright: plain files in their own repositories, portable containers, no per-seat licenses.
AI is a contributor, engineers are accountable
Large language models help design, build, test, and document every engagement. Every AI-assisted change still goes through review, and a named engineer owns it.
Hand-over is the finish line
Fixed scope, clear milestones, and runbooks, monitoring, and training for your team. Ongoing support is available, but never required.

Founder
David founded Avizing after a career designing and supporting systems for enterprise healthcare and media deployments, and building security-focused devices for high-throughput messaging. Avizing continues to support high-volume data engineering efforts in news, sports, and entertainment. That background shapes how Avizing approaches data platforms: reliability, security, and operability are designed in from the start, not added once something is already in production.
